Default Coolant pissing out the plastic tank!

The coolant is poping the plastic coolant tank and it splashes the hood when at WOT..

What is causing this? crap in coolant(I had some PS fluid leak in the PS fluid cooler so..)

No overheating whatsoever and no white smoke.

Yeah, hopefully just a new cap. It could also be a blown head gasket, but I doubt it. And you won't always have white smoke with a blown head gasket, but you can still have overheating and over flow issues into the over flow tank.

Yeah, I dont really feel like tearing apart the engine these days. Its going to sit this way for a while if its blown gasket.

I've run nitrous with a poped out spark plug wire, maybe it caused some damage..

I would hope it is the cap but odds are it is head/gasket problem. Good luck.

There is a service bulletin on this, it is usually the cap not sealing well. It also helps to clean the radiator where the cap seals when replaced.

same issue here but it was when i would come home and park it and i would here a gurgeling noise coming from the overflow tank,no coolant loss from tank though. i replaced the radiator cap,no problems since. i did have a leak coming from my water pump gaskets but that i fixed that too.
