Default Where to buy LS1 manifold exhaust flange?

Can't believe I'm not able to find a vendor for these online. All I see for sale are the flange plate that mounts to the heads. I need the flange on other end like this...

Anyone know where I can buy these? My local exhaust shop didn't have any that match up to the LS1 stock manifolds.

No one has marketed the flanges as of yet.. most have had to make there own. This has been a peice that many have asked for for the past few years.....

Shop wrecking yards for old cats. They can't legally sale the cat but they can and will cut the fanges off and sale them. That is how I got my flanges to build the exhaust system.

I don't see flanges that mate to stock ls1 manifolds listed in the link you provided. The flanges are totally different from left to right side

Rocky, I believe you're right. I looked at some old pics I had of the ends of the manifold and the flanges appeared to be asymmetrical in one way or another. I may just have to create them from 5/8" or 7/16" steel.

I cant believe no company has made these yet, everyone over the last 5-9 years has had to make them from scratch. I wonder what the problem is? Why has'nt brp or jegs or someone made these available?

I wasn't aware that they weren't made until I dropped my rig off on Friday for exhaust and had to pay $100 for custom ones. A rip off I know, but it's awesome work and I was dying to get it going.

Default Found another source

I just got off the phone with John at SPD Exhaust (www.spdexhaust.com) They make both sides in Stainless and Mild Steel. List price is $56 each mild steel and $69 each for stainless steel. He indicated that dealers/vendors get a discount buying them set by set and a larger discount buying them in bulk (not sure what quantity would be required.) They seem genuinely interested in filling this "niche" market.

Anyone here know any of the "usual" LS1 vendors or site sponsors that might be interested in pursuing this as an addition to their line of products?

I found my flanges at a local shop that installs afternarket exhaust systems, picked up a pair for around $20. I would recomend calling performance shops in your local area and ask if they have any lying around that they will sell for cheap.

I'm going this route as well. My local machine shop will make these for $25 for the pair.

With vendors having these in the price points of almost $60+ per set it will be difficult for these to sell in any noticeable quantity imho.

I guess for busy guys like me.. .there's a lot to be said for having a vendor ship the part straight to your door than taking time off work to visit "the local guy".
