What install kit for 10-bolt 4.10 install?
Just looking in the new summit getting ready to order my Motive 4.10's and trying to figure out what install kit i should get? Looking at Ratech install kits and there are 3 levels, Standard, Complete and Deluxe.
Standard has- pinion shims, carrier shims, crush sleeve, pinion seal, pinion nut, ring gear bolts and cover gasket.
Complete has- everything in the standard plus head, tail, and carrier bearings.
Deluxe has- everything in the standard and complete plus wheel bearings.
Which do i need? Like i said i'm putting 4.10's in my ten bolt, looking for it to last for a year maybe? it's an A4 and i know its going to break eventually but i have no money for a 9 in and going though the traps in 2nd gear with my 2.73's is just NOT working lol.
Also i have heard about putting in a solid crush sleeve to make the 10-bolt a little stronger? This true? If so, where can i get one?
One last thing, Is there anything else i can do while i'm in there doing the install to strengthen up the 10-bolt a bit, like i said i know its not gonna last but just checking into everything i can do. I have seen the post with the back braces and such but not sure if i want to go that far, anything else possible?
Thanks!

Some Ratech kits actually come with Timken bearings "USA made" and others don't I would call who your gonna order it from and talk to them. If the kit that your looking at doesn't have good bearings I would get just the shims and then pick up the bearings you need locally

All ratech kits I have ordered from Summit and WS6store have had Timken bearings. Whoever sells the ratech kits should also have the solid pinion spacer available. I didnt put wheel bearings in my rebuild at 100k bc wheel bearings last a while, but i did replace everything else. This is the kit I installed, Ratech 308-tk
