New Orleans - Anyone close to Houma, LA?

I know we have members from Baton Rouge and New Orleans here, but I' m looking for people closer to Houma, that may be interested in a local car club. If this applies to you, let me know, and I' ll fill you in. We have a Myspace page, but it' s under construction and not much to look at yet. We' re trying to bring people of a common interest together. We currently have several Camaros, Mustangs, GTO's, a Silverado SS, Lightning, Roadrunner, and even an RX8. Yep, I didn' t "get" a flat though. Some jackarse that works at the seafood place next door was being a puzzy, and cut my valve stem. My buddy got all of his and his battle axe' s info, when I called him to swing by in his unit to see about two drunk arseholes! :D We tag-teamed them, a drunk and a patrol deputy! :judge:

Thanks man! Spent most of the day detailing it off and on. I only wish I had more bike experience. A `Busa ain' t the best bike for a starter, as it is a little saucey, but I couldn' t pass up the deal! It' s a 2007, with 4600 miles, bluebook is $8500, bought it for $6500. Previous owner started polishing the frame, changed the exhaust and seat, and relocated the license plate holder. Ofcourse I see a handful of issues I could address to further enhance it' s appearance though! ;)

Sorry guys, been a little busy with Mardi Gras and working on the Busa. I' d considered a get together at Buffalo Wild Wings this Thursday, but I' m going to the House Of Blues for a concert. We will DEFINITELY do some Hooter' s meets, and at a more regular rate. A meet next week is out of the question, I' ll be in Daytona for Bike Week. After that though, we need to set something up.

Haha yea. Once you get older and start modding vehicles it's hard to go back to a dirt bike. Im going pick up a car in miami. Maybe when I get back Ill be able to start attending meets again. I seen trent, at the track not to long ago. He was handing out my timeslip at the booth. I thought he looked familiar. lol

Call Trappers in lockport for your heads. It's not a space age shop but the work that comes out speaks for itself.

I'm an inspector and have worked on the road or else worked screwy hours when I did work around the house. I finally got a job I've been waiting on that has my hours set unless some kind of emergency would happen. Cool thing is I work 5-8's one week then 4-10's the next, so every other week is a three day weekend. Friday to get the car(s) ready, Saturday and Sunday to play. I look forward to hearing more.
