Cracking BF KDWS? Anyone else?
I have some KDWS on my Z28 and have had them since 2004. They still have good tread left, about 50% id say but they are cracking on the outer sidewall. My friend once they start a tiny crack, you have to toss them, is this true?
My car gets stored outside in the winter 5 months a year with temps in the negative 40!.
Thanks
Mike

tires dont expire.....its not milk. if they are stored properly most manufacturers recommend no more then a 10yr shelf life just as a saftey measure. and a 5-6 yr usage life. again these are recomendations only. there is no evidence of a tire of any age failing just due to the age.
