Home built Truck Manifold 408 S88 track results
I am posting these videos for a friend of mine on here, TurboLs1SS. We went to the track last night and he got some good runs in. He has a build thread here for more info on the build:

Car was a 6sp until the McLeod twin disc bit the dust. On the wastegate he had some pretty impressive trap speeds in the 1/4th although the best ET was a 10.5 but switching to the auto is night and day, through the 1/8th the cas has picked up nearly 10mph

thanks guys.
this was my second trip to the (same) track with the auto. ran a 6.6 the 6.4 right out of the shoots last week, so i was pretty lucky that there was not much setup at all involved. the 6.2 was exactly the same setup as last week. unfortunately the stall needs to be tightened because im blowing through it. i had to slam on the brakes after the first run yest because i dont have enough cage..
there is 200+whp left in the tank.. on the wastegate it should run 5's and probably 9.5ish. once i get the converter situated ill raise the boost for sure. im extremely happy about the way the car's responding with the auto........ we'll see where it goes from here.
i've been rather busy with stuff lately, but hope to hit the 1/4 soon, hopefully next week. we'll see if it makes it all the way down the track if i dont get the converter tightened beforehand... either way, the car is really enjoyable at the track now!
thanks for all the comments guys!

I know exactly what you are feeling right now. Thats how I felt when I switched from a 6 speed to a th400 in my cobra. Much faster and way to much fun. I love your setup. i just bought a firebird that I am going 402 with a 88 and Im pulling out the th400 from the cobra and utting it in the bird. Great runs. Im still warm and fuzzy feeling.
