i will be making a set of LCA's in a class at my high school and i need to know how long they are from the center of the mounting hole to the center of the other..

if i wanted do to double adjustable should one side be left and thread? i plan on doing a piece of 1.5" steel however long drilled and tapped for 3/4" rod ends
(these to be exact )

Not sure on that, but I've been involved in many discussions back in the day when someone was using 5/8" rod ends for LCAs, and it just didn't seem safe from an engineering standpoint, hence the recommendation for 3/4" ends.

I fabbed up a couple of pairs of LCAs to try with the stock rubber bushings, so the ride wasn't too harsh, and the suspension had a little "give" so it wouldn't bind as the panhard bar pivoted. I used 1 5/8" DOM steel tubing....

im thinking of 1"-1.5" solid steel tubing drilled and tapped for 3/4" rod ends and milled in the middle for a wrench to turn the bar to adjust the lenght ill mill the tubing .250 (.125 for 1" steel) on both sides in the mill so it will take a 1" wrench

ok i finally think i figured it out

1 1/4" bar faced and drilled for 3/4''-16 LH threads on one side and 3/4" -16 RH threads on the other then milled .125 on both sides on both ends for use of a 1" wrench
