3inch ORY Pipe+Bullet TurnDown=Sound Good??
My Exhaust setup is Hooker Super Comp LT's into a 3inch Hooker ORY Pipe and finally flowing into a B&B Tri-Flow Exhaust. My car has NO CATS. It also has a Cut-Out Mounted before the Catback.
I really do like the sound of my car now because I always drive with the Cut-Out Open and it sounds really good, but I am now starting to no be a fan of the B&B. I really like the look of a Dump before the rear axle look and having a clean looking bumper with no catback showing.
I really don't want to have to change to a X-Pipe, so I saw this and was wondering if anyone has ever done a exhaust setup like this and if there are any clearance problems, How it sounds?, How it looks?,Would I get more flow/power than the B&B?,etc...I do not want this car to be EXTREMELY LOUD or sound like a DRAG CAR, just I love the strong muscle car sound.
Here is a pic:
The research I have done has told me that the B&B is VERY EXPENSIVE, does not have the best flow, and weighs alot. So I thought It would be best for me to get rid of it and change things up and sell it(In which I have seen several B&B Catbacks used sell from $450-$600 USED).
Any help, suggestions, or advice would be greatly appreciated.

With no cats, and a bullet muffler into a turn down it's going to be LOUD!
I would put a couple of bullet mufflers right after the headers, along with the one right before the turn down to keep it from being too loud.
Or just change the exhaust from the muffler on back. Maybe just a bullet muffler with a turn down.

i ran an ory with a single bullet and a turn down.
its LOUD and has a lot of rasp.
it was only marginally better than an open cutout.
after that i ran a 3" i-pipe from the bullet over the axle into a 2nd bullet and tucked it up under the trunk with a turn down (even painted it flat black)...sounded much better.

Just run the exhaust out the back...Dynomouth. It'll be loud but no as annoying since all the noise will be out the rear of the car. Used to have that setup on my 94Z and the dumped bullet was just too loud. My magnaflow #14419 sounds great dumped at the axle but I still want the exhaust out the rear cuz its still just a tad loud for me; sounds way better than any bullet/round muffler of similar size.

it sounds awesome and i love it. i get compliments on the sound from complete strangers everywhere i go.
just make sure you use long tubes. when i had the stock manifolds, it was kind of a droney type sound at cruise speed. but when i added the longtubes it was thumpin.

its not that loud, only on WOT. i daily my car like that and it is quite... well with a stock cam it is. but i have a long bullet, either 22 or 18 inch. it is much quiter than a TD set-up.
