4l60e limp mode i guess?
Ok i have a 96 rs camaro 3.8 a4, car didnt run wen i bought it, built motor installed, ran but wouldnt budge. changed tranny got a 4l60e from a firebird, installed same problem. so i sent it off turns out there were a couple clutches burned out, and the pan was smashed in, and there was a lil water in it. installed again and its in limp mode. now here is some usefull info wen i got the fbird trans it had a diff speed sensor, so i swapped the tail shaft off the old tranny. so i figured my speed sensor could be bad, so i bought one yesterday but havent installed yet. wen i was comparing the sensors i saw that one of the wires had broke off the pigtail for the speedsensor. my maf was fixed yesterday idk if this is relevent or not. so my question is does it sound like ive pretty well got it, any suggestions, or other questions? thank you

well i havent been home yet to drive it again, i just read one of your older threads and it was talking about the maf causing it to not function properly i just installed a k&n cai, so how oftenshould i clean my maf? wen i get home i think im going to replace the wires on the plug with new wire for good conncetion then im going to drive it. if it continues to not shift i will put that speed sensor on. if that doesnt fix it, what should i do?
