Default 347 at 10psi of boost

what kind of numbers should i be expecting out of a 8.6:1 cr 347 ls1 on 10 psi of boost with a 281 277 115 lsa cam 63a/r precision turbo

it was on the dyno the other day and i only got about 390whp but it had problems with the boost controller and the manifold cracked shortly after

the turbo system is an old ls1 motorsports kit. which is exactly the same as the tti street kit. going to work on something this winter to replace this piece of ****. tired of pulling it out and getting it welded.

a .63 a/r turbo seems kind of small.

Cam looks good but the compression you are running is for big boost.

those 42lb injectors are not even going to handle 7lbs of boost.

^^^ people went to 500whp fi with those injectors no problem. why would they not work for me ? am i going to be burning that much more fuel because of the lower cr and more boost to achieve the same numbers ?

The .63 will be a big problem. Also 500 should be OK on your injectors yes.

Automatic trans? Locked converter?

Ign. advance and AFR?

I did a 8.6 to 1 347 in a m6 vette. On a stingy mustang dyno it made 588 @ 11 psi. 593 ft lbs.

It runs two stock gn turbos....with a zo6 cam, water meth, ls6 intake. It didnt even need the meth and I couldnt get he boost higher at the time. It now runs around at about 17 psi on 91 octane.

BTW its going 100% on it 60's with about 70 psi at idle on the rail. I d go further but its needs 83's or 96's and another pump.

At 16 psi I was going 10.00@139mph @ 3450 raceweight, I figure that's pretty good for an 8:1 348 cid plus a turbo.

yes it is the factory 4l60e with the factory converter, i am really surprised it is holding up. just waiting on this to blow up so i can swap out for a 4l80e.

the only aftermarket parts for ignition is the tr6 plugs at 035 gap

you think i can push the .63 turbo to get 500whp ?

if i made 390whp close to 12psi how much more would i have to push it to get 500whp

also i wend down the track on the Wednesday and i would appreciate i you could point out the problem areas for me.

r/t .286
60' 2.213
330 5.548
1/8 8.185
mph 93.61
1000 .0000
1/4 12.321
mph120.22

this was done with the stabilizer bar disconnected and quite a big exhaust leak. on factory 245 tires.
