Default edelbrock coil covers

I bought edelbrock coil covers. I hated the vette covers. Bottom line, yes mods were needed but over all I'm happy with the look. I also needed to mod the harnes to tuck perfect under the covers.

This pic is when I just put it on. The pass side needed a knoch for the dipstick.

I'll need to take some more recent pics but you get the idea.

I didn't look very hard to see if someone posted pics but I been in this section a fair amount of times and didn't see them on here. I'd like to get a cover for the rails now. I may just chop up my vette covers.

Those pics would be mine.... I did this over the winter.
I got the unfinished ones and shaved the logo off them, then painted them.

I currently have them off as I picked up a set of the high intensity truck coils, and they sit higher on the valve covers. So either I'll mod the coil covers, or sell them.

Sweet!! I love how they said not made for oem install...I loved how the right side had the place for the mount to the VC but there is no hole in the VC.

Try that bling polish on the TB. Stuff works! Hate the name though. I'd like to make some covers for the fuel lines.

BTW what intake is that? I've got an LS3...

I think Edelbrock was just covering their assets by saying not for OEM because you do have to do some modifications to the fuel rail as well as make provisions for the dipstick. Who knows what I would have had to deal with if I still had the egr and air pump.

Yeah, I plan to do quite a bit of polishing of the engine bay stuff over the winter, more stainless steel bolts, and polishing of the shock tower brace I have as well as a few other things. The intake is a FAST 90/90 that I shaved the letters off of and painted black. At a quick glance, it looks stock .

I'll post some more pics later on.

I remember reading Alchemist's thread and he mentioned he had to go with aftermarket fuel rails because of clearance issues with the stock fuel rail inlet. Ryan how did you get yours to work with the stock fuel rails? Could you post pics demonstrating what you had to do for clearance with the dipstick? Thanks.
