Default 4'' Mufflex Catback with Flowmaster Merge Installed

Just had my 4'' Mufflex with spintech muffler installed yesterday with the matching 4'' merge and a 4'' badlanzhpe Cutout & Turndown assembly.

The sound is great IMO and it's alot quieter then the Dumped Single chamber I had in the Y-pipe. The seat of the pants feel has Improved but dyno numbers are soon to come to see if there is a real gain or not.

This was the sound before the mufflex with the flowmaster

With the Mufflex

Cutout Open Idle Clip

Idle/Revs though the spintech, The quality is kinda crappy and I believe the car loaded up at the end, the rpms drop really really low and it wanted to die.

Mufflex does sound better. I like my exhaust loud, but i didn't like how that flowmaster sounded compared to the mufflex. Got any rev or WOT clips?

+1 i'd like to hear that thing WOT. Sounds amazing though, i love the spintech muffler, but i've only heard it through high flow cats (mine).

Sounds good, is that with the cutout closed? This is the setup that I've been wanting to do. How much did the whole setup cost, labor?

Is that a LT1 or LS1? It says 97 Z28 so I assume LT1 unless you did a swap. The LT1s had a better sound to the exhaust in my opinion!

It's a LS1 Car, Swap was done 2yrs ago. I will get some Rev clips, cutout clips and maybe some WOT clips.

Man that does sound good. I wish someone made a single 4" in/dual 3" out muffler other than spintech...

I ordered the catback and Merge directly from Denny @ Mufflex. They opened up the Merge so the 4'' intermediate pipe slid into the other pipe.

Magnaflow (12594) makes one, but it is 4" in on one side and dual 3" out on the other. I am thinking about getting it for a 2OTL look.
