Uncorfortable with nitrous tune
I took my car in for a nitrous tune yesterday. I'm running a 125 shot. The NA tune was at 11.5 to 1 and 25 degrees timing. The tuner changed the A/F to 12.8/1 and this was the best we got. I'm uncomfortable with how the a/f is so rich until its below the computers ability to read. I'm runnig 116 in a standalone and 125 nitrous pill with 100 fuel pill. The tuner said that if I went with a small fuel pill that the car would be too lean. So this is the best we got. I'm uncomfortable because the power is low and my graph doesn't look like anyone elses. Chime in. Give me comfort or complaints.

is there any reason you are running c16 for only a 125 shot? what is your compression? honestly i would think you are being WAY to safe with c16 for only a 125 shot at 500-550hp...

I'm guessing stock compression I have 214/230 .601/.575 117 , ported 243's, Lt and all bolt ons. The standalone, c16 and everything else was bought based on suggestions. I spend whatever to make it safe.

i just feel like c16 mixed for a 125 shot is way too much overkill for a stock compression 400hp n/a motor. i could be wrong, i am sure someone who knows much more will post up.

Are you sure the bottle was good?
If the jetting was that rich it should show it sooner but maybe not.
Before you go changing a bunch of stuff put a fresh bottle in it and make sure the pressure is right.
Only making 80hp on 125 jets isnt good.
C16 in the stanalone is fine, when you get the tune dailed in it should let you run a couple more degrees of timing.

Did they pull plugs? What plugs are you using?
You need to take it to the track, make a 1/8th mile pass and pull the plugs.
Dyno's can get you in the ball park but there is no way its "dailed in".
Anything under 11.5 A/F is real rich IMO on a 125 shot.
We run our 175 shot at the same A/F we run on motor, 2nd stage is richer.

What fuel sys you running, are you using a FPSS? Also having low to no bottle left, can really make you run "soft". It might read 1050 at the start, but that can all change pretty quick when she is empty.
