Great races. The 69' was definitely asleep at the wheel on the 3rd race.

That 69 is a pos if that 02 is anywhere close to stock. I think I heard them saying hes putting 35-360 to the wheels, thats freakin pitiful for a bbc, I dont see any purpose in having a bbc unless your gonna make 600+hp.

who cares what it is making for power, the guys were having fun out there. The guy might not have the money right now to build it more. I guess only people who have built motors with lots of money poured into them should race then...

I was thinking the 69 was going to destroy the SS. I guess you never know who will win when it comes to racing.

The beginning of that video was kinda lame. Do you really need VHT lit on fire and some training wheel style burnout to get a less than 400 WHP car to hook on the street?

Nice races! Just curious why the 02 is listed as SLP. Is there something special done? Because all SS's go through SLP. Just wondering if it had some special work done.

That all the hoopla was pretty fast and furious and not necessary. My buddy had a 70 Nova with a mild BBC and a similar suspension setup as that car. Cal Trac bars, 12 bolt, 4:10s, and 275/60/15 drag radials. His car would always hook with only a small burnout. He didn't need VHT (especially after it had been lit on fire), nor did he need 2 or 3 people to help do burnout.

At what point did I tell anyone how to live thier life? When people post up something on the iternet they can't expect all the response to be filled with roses and love. Sometimes people don't don't agree with each other, welcome to life.

the car did look to be having traction problems so with his setup using vht was a good option.
