9K rpm is risking top end damage- yours going to keep TOP of the line pushrods, valves, springs, retainers, so on and so forth, and even then you shouldnt go that high often- ricers rev to the moon cuz their OHC motors

There is no point in building a short stroke motor unless you are displacement limited by racing class rules. A high rpm (9,000) LSx will need a cam that would be a dog on the street and not really come alive untill 6,500 prm or so. A high rpom cam with small displacement is gonna be like a modified Supra. Limp untill 6,000 or so and then BAM!
And besides, a properly built stock stroke 370 will rev to 7,500 and still be decent in the low-mid range.

Exactly even in the Le Mans series the Corvette revs to 6900 and that is a road course. The need out of the corner, long straights, and so on keeping their revs up 90% of the race.
I mean really what would the application be for because I could not see this going into a DD street car.

hmm ill probly end up just building a 6.0 block then i heard the cranks are strong so h-beams probe pistons cnc heads ms4 cam.... and im thinking a warrior intake. sombody local told me that they flow better then the fast intakes? idk if this is true or not but if so then there damn worth the money. would a 6.0 crank be able to handle a 250 shot?

But the only viable intak choices for LS motors are stock, Fast, GMPP/Vic Jr. single planes.
