how much power will a 346 hold with forged pistion?
stock crank
stock rods
forged pistion
i no the crank will hold alot but what about the rods?
and last 4 awhile?

I'd just go ahead and put the rods in there while you're at it.. save you from tearing back into it and some insurance from problems down the road if you don't..
Rumor has it, stock crank is good to around 800 though..

your rods are the weak point. whats the point in replacing pistons and tearing apart the motor and leaving the rods stock? leave the crank alone and forge the pistons and rods
