Default compression height 6.0 truck block

What compression height are you guys running on the 408's and 370's. I have heard the deck height on the 6.0 iron blocks is 9.230 and the aluminum blocks are 9.240 is this true? Everywhere you look you get a different answer. I am trying to decide which piston set to buy for a turbo setup. Right now I am thinking Wiseco but don't know which set to buy. I will be building a 370 and will be reusing my ls6 heads.

Deck height on my 6.0L block is 9.230". Reading it right off the build sheet from LME. I have the -8cc Wiseco pistons with stock LS6 heads and my CR is right around 11.25:1.

Anyone on compression height? Wiseco's website says the 6.0 truck block deck height is 9.230 so I guess that is confirmed. I thought the compression height of the piston should be 1.294 but the closest on Wiseco's site is 1.300. Do the pistons come out of the block at tdc.

My 2002 block was also 9.230. My wiseco pistons were even with the top of the block during mock up. We decked the block for compression reasons and gasket sealing and ended up around .005 out of the hole.

My block had a very light cleanup pass on the decks and my mahle pistons ended up .012" above deck.
