Hello
They are really nice! They are very street able and will save you a few pounds. Wilwood and Flaming River have nice pieces.
Hope that helps
Thanks
Brad

We also offer a bolt-in rack that would work out great for your application which can be found here
RK001 + RK002

Madman is also an authorized distributor of our products

Here are a few images of the kits we offer...

they save some weight... but on a DD car that sees the parking lot, I would keep the power steering

I was told the same thing. If your moving, no problems. But trying to park in a crowded lot or make very slow turns would not be any fun day in and day out.

The rack it's self is nice. From a design stand point I do not like the tie rod connections.

I have a BMR rack which is a flamming river rack with a BMR bracket. They tell you to drill out the taper in your spindle and slide through a bolt.

I feel this is a "downgrade" because the connection is not near as tight as the stock tapered bolt. It essentially makes the connection a crush connection with aluminum spacers. The only contact within the tapered portion to the bolt would be around 1/8" to 1/4". I didn't deem this as safe enough for my application but many cars are utilizing this system.

As far as I know MADMAN offers tie rod connections that allow you to get around this. I made my own. It wasn't easy but I tracked down all the parts I needed and got it done.

If you search for "tie rod" connections I have a thread about this topic and how I solved it.

I plan on running one in my DD T/A, I have a couple of cars with manual steering boxes and they build muscle. Of course you may not like it if you have a vag.
