new to ls1 in south ohio
Hi everyone just wanted to introduce myself. I have been on LS1 tech for a while now but just this past month I got my first ls1 car so I thought I should share that with you. Ive been into cars for around 15 yrs and do all my own work and still learn new things every day. I used to run boosted honda's but really liked the ls1 platform so here I am. Ive already purchased some goods for my car but havent had time to install them but as I do I will update my info. My car is a 98 z28 m6 with 80k on it and here are some pics thanks for viewing and sorry bout all the B.S. I couldnt get the pics to load so here is a link.

Well the car came with the weiand intake and its new in the box and im not sure that i would be able to sell it for enough to get a ls6 intake. As far as the heat soak I wouldnt think it could be so bad that it will hurt it that much especially when your driving getting fresh air. I just figured I would port match the intake and heads and hope for the best. I know there have been proven dyno results on the ls6 intake being better but do most people port match these intakes to give it a chance to work the way its intended to.
