Default what parts

Wanting a 375 plus rwhp 350.. going in a 3rd gen camaro or a S10. Just something that I can take to the track and play and then rarely get around on the street. will prolly run a 4:10 gear, with a 3800 stall and TH350 tranny. I will spray it but want the 375 RWHP all motor.. I am wanting to beat up on some Heads, cam, LS1's lol.. Please be specific on what heads and such and please keep in mind that I have a somewhat slim budget as this is just going to be a toy. Thanks..

Are you willing to stroke this engine?

Well, i have built a 383 that was smashing heads and cam LS1s, the extra cubes levels the playing field of the LS heads. But aftermarket heads is the extra advantage.

Sounds like you are willing to go pretty wild, what heads do you want to use?

Why not beat them with their own game? haha Go find a cheap 5.3, 5.7, 6.0 LS engine. They make mounts for both thirdgen and S-10's... Do a carb intake, carb, MSD coil pack controller...Choose a cam that you know works well. Headers are made for swapping engines into both vehicles also. Stock exhaust manifolds may work also if the budget gets too tight. For safety...some guys drop the pan and install ARP rod bolts. Easily done when it's on the engine stand before dropping it in. Spray the rest of the way.

This SHOULD be cheaper than building an SBC from the ground up. I have more faith in a stock LS bottom end than a stock 350 sbc bottom end. Especially with heads/cam+Spray.. Do a lightweight stripped S10, caltrac suspension, 275/60/15 Hosier Radial..

Goodluck!
