#´s are you meaning rwhp/TQ.?

If so i´haven´t dynotuned it, there is no dyno here in Iceland. so... i´m not sure what numbers she is on it now.

But i´m hoping for few rwhp @ the top end when i change the Fast and Trb. , i´m shifting now@ 6300rpm´s stops pulling there.... so...

but for example on my old setup, stock bottom end 346 and another cam, whith same combo, my trap speed was 123mph, and i was reving it 6500rpm, and it was still pulling...

But now it is much more mid range power and that TQ ,

Glad to hear that one of us is enjoying our car !!! Congrats man, but you need to be shifting higher then 6200 rpms. 6600 rpms should yield you a much better MPH. Time is quite respectable, but MPH is not the best. Any idea what the DA was ?

Shoot me the Humidity, Temp, Barometer, and Feet above sea level your track is and we can figure out the DA you had on your run. -Da will help you pickup a lot of MPH.

Hey bro, are you still running the ls6 intake ? You should still be getting more MPH with that 402.

DA is the density altitude - basically a measure of how dense the air is. The more oxygen in the air the more power/hence trap speed that you will make. Higher barometric pressure, lower air temps, and the closer to sea level you are all contribute to a lower (better) DA. As for your times I don't know why you're trapping lower with the 402 setup vs your past 346 - I'm sure part of it is that now you're hooking much better plus the DA might have been worse for the 402 run. I still would've expected a couple mph higher based on your 97 mph 1/8th. Mine was about 95mph there but still crossed at 121.4. Who did the tuning for it?

Hi Doug
How are you, have you found new diff,?

Yes i´m still running that LS6 intake and Throttleb.
this winter i´ll find my self a nice pair of fast 92mm and larger Thr.b....

I have the first old version of TFS 215cc, the first version had pushrods 7.7, the newer 7,5 if i remember right.

ok i understand that DA messurement...
i´m not sure what it is here...

Jason@ Texas-speed helped me whith my Tune, we are still at it.

i´m shifting gears @ 6300rpms, maby that´s the reason for low Trap, it stops pulling there, but on the old setup 346, it was pullin like crazy @6500rpms.

i would like to see much higher Trap speed , though i have that LS6 intake, would like to see 124-125 like it is now.

but i think maby i have 2-3 miles in better tune and in the shiftings, did´nt power shift it there.... at the track

Just for reference I ran a 126.72 in less then optimum air. The night I broke, DA was -500 to -750 That means she would've pulled a good bit more everywhere. I was really thinking that with a clutch that wasn't slipping and good air ( I had both that night) that I would trap 130. Too bad the diff puked.

As far as finding something, I have something in the works. THanks.

My 121.4 was at 1300 DA with the stock LS6 clutch starting to slip in 4th and no powershifting. I would like to see 123 powershifting with a new clutch and with all that extra power and torque I bet you would be knocking on 130 especially if you get some -500 DA. That's almost impossible here where our track is at 1000' elevation.

yes i´m running the same trap as 346 good H/C combo, that is strange,

for example, Doug here allign c5 he has very similuar combo as i have, same block and heads, but bigger fast and headers. and he would run here at my track + or -130mph, for sure, so there is long way going.

But it will be nice to see if helping her breath will give my more top end power, if i can pull well upto 6600rpms, i´m sure i´ll pick up few miles, and then keeping up whith the tune....

Don´t you agree?

An LS6 on a 402 with great heads and a decent sized cam is DEFINITELY holding you back. I wouldn't be surprised if you picked up 30+ RWHP with a ported 90 or 92 over the LS6 at this point.
