yep that's the best way to go to do the whistler mod on a brand new set of lights. i'll be doing the same thing pretty soon.

Hmm, makes me wonder why everyone always bitches about the price of a new set of Camaro H/L's being like $300+... $125 shipped for the halo H/L's and all you've got to do is pull the insert out and viola! New set...

^ some people HAVE TO have genuine GM products. even if there's an after market part that you wouldn't be able to see a differance with, and costs half the price. like people who spend $1000+ just to get a GM made SS or WS6 style hood.
