ok i have a gooooood question could i run a heads only car or its best to run a cam only car i just wanna do one for right now. i have full exhaust lid performance tune by thunder racing descreen lid high performance spark plugs msd wires but stock stall and gears plus i have a 2002 nhra trans am give me a good setup.you know good heads or cam and stall. cause he has a new just made lsx cam nobody have it yet

You will gain more power from a properly speced cam for sure and it is much more affordable. If your friend doesn't want to go real big he could pick up 30hp or so and keep the stock stall.

We really need to know the budget and goals....

my budget is not all that. i work at pepbpys and make no good money over there so its like i by the end of the month i have 200 + to play with and my goal is a unresricted dd fast street car. ex work the day and when some body call me out punish by night lol

well i would say some stock 243's would be your best bet you can find them for 400 or so used on here

that 400 won't go very far might better save for awile you still have gaskets and fluids when you change heads or cams
