Default 402-418ci trap speeds

Hi all. I was looking to compare trap speeds from 400ci setups. Specifically in the 402-418ci range.

I feel like my car doesn't dyno as well as some stroker setups but wanted to compare my mph to others.

2006 GTO
416ci
500whp
3600 raceweight
Best trap speed is 126
DA was +1500

Looking for car, weight, displacement, whp, and trap, DA. Thanks to all that contribute.

126 in a 3600LB GTO sounds right on to me @ 500rwhp. I've seen 500rwhp F-bodies do that and worse not to mention a few 500rwhp C5's and C6's under 130 as well.

Just my observation, I know it doesn't add technical value to your thread.

Friend has a 10.x:1 408 cid with ported L92 heads, 490rwhp on motor thru auto. Car trapped 128 mph. I'm guessing 3500 raceweight and small converter.

Solid roller? I know a guy with a vette with 510whp and a raceweight of 3150ish and he only traps 130 with a stock LS2.

Yes ... Great heads and intake and a solid roller.

We only made like 4 motor passes all year I think in good air with a motor converter and the right gears it would go low 9's @ 145 ish

Depending on the race weight and the motor you should be well above the 130 mark.

I traped 132 with a 346 and 3300lbs race weight...

A well build 402 should put down at least 50hp more than my 346, that should trap 136 or 137 given all other variables remain the same...

My race weight is 3500+

It's a GTO with a mild cam and auto car. I think 127 will be about my maximum.

Car is completely streetable. Driven to and from the track. Bone stock suspension. No trailer queen drag style tricks. Just a mild 416 setup in a GTO.

My race weight is 3900lbs and with ~500rwhp n/a I trap 123-124 and then 134-135 on a 175rwhp shot.
