ls1 in an 88 fox.. In progress.
yup. I'm building another ls1 fox body. Cooked the 5.0 after a coolant line exploaded and leaked my coolant to fast for my gauge to register a change, pretty much the kiss of death..
Originally planned to do a built, superchared 306, then a 331 stroker, then toyed with the idea of doing a 460 big block.. Found myself wondering why I was speding to much money for old school motors (no offence).
Bought a 01 ls1 and t-56 out of an camaro ss with 33k miles.
Planed on doing heads/cam combo, but keep changing our minds, so its going in mostly stock. Kook's longtubes 1 7/8's, 3 1/2 collector with cutouts, 3 inch al the way out the back. Going to run a 150 shot.
This summer we'll tear it back out and build it with a full forged 346 ci rotating assembly, custom heads, cam, and some sort of forced induction.
rear end is a ford 8.8, moser 33 spline axles, c clip eliminators, full spool, 4.10 fms gears.
Went with the aje k member, a arms and tranny cross brace.
Qa1 12 way adj. front and rear.
upr upper and lower control arms
Double anti roll bar (working on some sort of quick release and a bracket so we can mount it to the floor while on the street)
full subframe connectors
6 point roll going in as soon as we get it
Aerospace components brakes front and rear
hurst bullit plus shifter
flaming river solid shaft and manual rack
Custom painless harness (including ac)
camaro 155mph gauge cluster
Thats pretty much all I can think of. This winter I'm going to straighten the body and paint it gloss black. Doing a full interior as well, all black.
I'll post more pics once we drop it and get it all wired.
(sorry for some of the **** cell phone pics)

because i got a STEAL on the rear end (never really used either), and it already had moser 33 spline axles. Didnt want to spend the $$ for new axles, so i worked with what i had.

This diagram was for a 3rd gen Fbody, with an upgraded pump (Most use a Walbro 255), and I'm pretty sure a similar setup would work with a Fox body. I bought all the parts listed, including stainless braided line (-6 AN) and my total cost with the Corvette filter was a little shy of $200. The Walbro pump was another $160.
