Going on tranny #4
Well, after burning up the stock 4L60E, I had it built for a super street car. I burnt this up after about 8 months. Then, I had one built for all out drag racing with hardened internals, and wicked shift kit. Well, When shifting into 3rd, I blew up the hardened clutch drum after 7000 miles! This sucks.

With your mods, your transmission will go out eventually. Save up some rebuild funds for when you need it. The 4L60E is a piece of junk all around.

Best auto trans you can buy. Lasts behind many 8,9,and 10 second cars. Same one LPE used in 8.9@155 vette. costs $2695, year guarantee, never had a problem with a Rossler. LPE and Cartek use them on their fast cars....
I had the 700R4 version in my 383 nitrous vette for many years with two freshenings (12 years of hard use)...
I am getting the 4L60E trans in 2 weeks for my nitrous 382 stroker Camaro....expect it to last for a long time!
