Arrow Sponsors need your Help Finding 17 or 18" wheels Narrowed rear end 3"

Well I have my camaro with a narrowed rear end 3" on each side and I already have a bad *** drag set up but now I am looking to see where can I find some wheels with a 4.5" offset or what would be best for this car? I was thinking maybe a 18x 11 or 10.5 can you guys point me in the right direction. I was looking at the tt's but where do I order them in that offset?

+7mm offset (+45 stock width) up to a +12mm offset (+50 stock width)

FYI, reasonable priced wheels are going to be a little harder to find since you'll need a custom offset.

you might have to spend a decent chunk of change but the higher end wheel manufacturers should be able to hook you up without a problem....

CCW
Fikse
HRE
etc.....

im like 70 percent sure that american racing can make a custom offset for a wheel... for instance you want the TTII"s i think you can call AR and they will make you the rim's, i doubt its cheap but yeah... just make sure your measurments are PERFECT! (as im sure they are just by looking at your car it looks killer man!!)

When I ordered my track star s wheel from American Racing I had to give them the offset that I wanted, since I have a stock rear end I went with 7.75 bs on a 17x11 and they fit great. They said they could make them any where from 4 to 9 in bs, if I remember right. All four of my wheels and tires only cost me over $1400 through my local tire and wheel shop

Correction! I didn't realize the rear end was shortened 3" per side , I thought 3" total.

So you'll want a -26.2mm offset to = +50, or -32.2mm to = +44

I do know you can also get the BOYD CODDINGTON CUSTOM SHOP SULTAN, in polished or OLD SCHOOL finish in 17 x 11" in a custom offsets for around $386 ea.

I called my local AR dealer and they quoted me around $1400 but for wheels only

I looked at those and they are very nice I am now leaning towards a 17x12 so I can add the 345/40/17 tires like Trust had on his car I think that would look sick. But now I want to make sureI get hte correct measurements since my wheels that I have now have a 4.5 bs and fit perfect but they are 15x10 and is making me wonder if I add the same back spacing with 12 inch wheels they might stick out too much. Now I am trying to figure out what bs to do.

So your current wheels should be about a -25.4 offset, or -1" offset, so with the 12's you'll want about 5.5" BS .

Here are my 17x12 TT2's from the rear 5'' backspacing.

If your drag wheels are 4.5'' backspacing any "Street wheel" you get with the same backspacing will sit in the same position and same location as your drag setup. If your drag wheels are 15x10 with 4.5 backspacing and you want a 17x11 with the same backspacing as long as you have room from the inner fender it will fit with no problem.

The only way your wider wheel will stick out further then your current drag wheel is by changing the backspacing to 4'' or 4.25''. Sometimes you might need to do that to gain extra clearance but if your willing to BFH or mini tub the car you won't need to. I didn't want to BFH, Mini tub or remove my bump stops so I made my back spacing 5'' so the wider wheel would clear with no issues, which pushed my wheel outside the fender some but nothing too bad or that doesn't look good.

Here is where the extra clearance is needed if you go with a wider wheel and the same backspacing. The wheel will not push outside the fender it will stretch more in the inside of the it. (17x11 TT2 5.75 backspacing on stock rear end about 3'' of clearance)

Here is a 17x11 TT2 with a 5.75 backspacing here you can see it tuck inside the rear qtr.

So I say if your drag setup looks good to you as far as wheel position and you have room on the inside for a wider wheel keep it the same backspacing, If you want it to "Tuck" more and don't mind mini tub or BFH you can go 4.75, 5'' or 5.25 and still be ok. Do what looks good to you! If it helps my drag wheels will be 15x10 with a 5.5 backspacing I will be trying to keep the wider drag tire inside the rear qtr so the rubber is inside the fender.

I like the way your car looks with that deep of a wheel..but if it was mine I think Id want it to stick out just a little bit more. Id like them about 1/2in to an inch sticking out at the top of the quarter..
