Default 243's

I did a search but couldn't find any dyno #'s that people posted. I am looking for cam, 243, A4 dyno #'s. I have a set of 243's, fuddle 3600, and looking for a good cam option.

I have ported 243's with a CompCam 224/230 114LSA, VigStall3000, and put down 391 with the verter unlocked.

Texas Speed did my heads. The dyno #'s aren't anyting to brag about, but this combo did 11.2's.

Converter cars typically aren't dyno queens. They don't show a big number do to drivetrain loss. You can lock the converter to show a more accurate number compared to a six-speed car if you are looking for a number. However, stalled A4 car will usually out run a more powerful M6 car at the track. That's where the converter car really shines.

If you would like us to port your heads just let us know. We can get you setup on either a Stg.1 head that will have fully CNC'd intake and exhaust ports and CNC valvejob with new stock valves. We also have a Stg. 2.5 LS6 that will have the CNC porting and CNC valvejob along with a 2.02/1.57 stainless valve combo. The Stg.1 will start at $650 and the Stg. 2.5 heads will run you $850. We also have a full line of valvesprings to meet your cam choice. We can also get you fixed up with a cam to match your combo and get you to the performance goals you are looking for out of your car. We have a wide variety of shelf cams and we can always do a custom grind if you would like! Let me know if we can help!

Jon

my dyno #s made me want to cry, but the car runs great and while most people are shifting im still flying! i was happy with my TSP heads. get the best springs your budget allows just in case you want a bigger cam down the road. i beat a viper that missed a shift!

AZPOS2 from Ed Curtis custom ground for an A4. They have an off the shelf for the M6 and the custom grind for the A4. I can PM you the specs. But also remember one thing, there are a lot of other mitigating factors like intake, intake manifold, exhaust, valvetrain, injectors, head work and Tuning.

Hey Jon,

The 2.5 LS6 heads I got from you had 2.04's, are they discontinued now?

I agree with Jon's points on auto's not being dyno queens and outperforming M6's which have more rwhp. IMO, the A4's that dyno high (on order of M6's with similar mods) point to dyno tinkering, miscalibration or the like.

We went back to the 2.02. We found some more air out of the smaller valve without loosing anymore PTV with the 2.04.
