LED Lighting Strips - 2006 Impala SS (56k death)
Well, while my car is falling apart, I'm still wasting small amounts of money here and there to at least make it look like a winner while it's standing still Donrome gets the kudos for bringing pics of his LEDs over to NAIOA...and that started everyone off.
Here's the latest mod...LED lighting strips installed @ fogs:
$30 - ebay :http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWNX%3AIT
They say they're white, but imo, they're "Cool Blue"...very much like 6000k HID's. I have white LED sidemarkers and they're MUCH whiter than these strips. They're also bluer than my Halos...which is why I temporarily disabled them.
I also placed them in other configurations for others as well:

They grab your attention during the day, and obviously even moreso at night. I was waiting for my wife to get out of class last night and had a group of guys gawking. I drove with just the fogs, running lights and LEDs on and they look pretty badass. They really stand out...but in a clean way, imo.
I prefer the LED color as a stand-alone, and it matches my fogs well. Someone out there may offer different colors/levels of white...?
IMO, these are comparable to 6000k HIDs. I've had everything from 8000k down to 4300k, and my money is on a perfect match for 6000k in non-projector housings.
What's weird is that my 4300k HIDs, which are in my fogs, for some reason produce light output that looks like 6000k...and it matches the LEDs perfectly at night. My projector headlights, however, are 5000k and look pure white in comparison.
Yeah, I prefer them down there.

i think these may make a nice christmas present...more then likely i would have a stereo shop wire them up because i want it to look clean and have a kill switch for them so i would have that option....what do you guys think about runnin these under the headlights of the GXP?

IMO, if you go under the headlight...mount them to the bumper and not the headlight itself. That way, if you need to remove the headlight to replace a bulb or something, you don't have to disconnect the LED's.
