Default Replacing Fuel Filter on 03 CTS ?

Guys I know how to remove it and all but I know I need to release the pressure of the lines and I dont see a purge valve. How do I release the pressure of the line ?

And is there any site where I can get info on regular maintance? any online guides ?

I don't know if its the right way, but I just replaced mine by pulling the gas cap and slowly removing the main line from the fuel filter and letting it blow out gas for about 15 seconds. Obviously I didn't lay under the car but did it from the side and let it blow on some cardboard to soak it up.

Ok I guess I can try that. I always began by relieving the pressure when I did my SS.

I'm sure there is a way to relieve pressure, I'm assuming on or near the fuel rail. Sorry, wish I had a better way for ya.

Pop the fuse box, and pull the fuel pump relay...turn it over for a second...whalla, no more pressure...just don't continually try and start it or you'll throw a code.
