Default Has anyone every used this windshield installer?

Ace 1 Auto Glass
Houston

I called them up and they were $70 cheaper than everyone else. They said they could be here by noon. How is it they can get a windshield for a car that isn't even made anymore so quick? Its got me kinda worried.

Just because the car isnt made anymore doesnt mean they have to custom order a piece of glass. they probably have a distributor that has 100 fbody windshields collecting dust.

Well if thats the case then cost of the windshield, driving to get it, then coming to my house, and installing for $130 makes me nervous. Also he told the price in two seconds he didnt even look anything up.

If you're in Tomball use Auto Glass Installers. I used them a couple days ago and they did a perfect job. Total bill came out to be $200 with new molding. They also came out to my house to install it. Very nice people. They're located across from walmart at alice rd. and 249. I'd pay the extra to make sure someone didn't hack up my car

Its installed and looks okay. They broke the little plastic piece that goes over the wiper arm but I can fix it. Other than the piece they broke and them hauling *** on it everything seems okay. I guess for the price I cant complain.

Got a new windshield for a car of mine for 125 with the trim, they did great but the damn blue tape left some adhesive behind when i removed it, so it was just getting it cleaned off that sucked.

We are also talking a smaller third gen windshield, so i imagine it is going to be cheaper.
