Default Best Lowing Springs to Buy

I wanted to buy a set of lowing springs for 01 SS. I am unsure of what to buy does anyone have any suggestions. The car is not my daily driver. I auto cross the car a couple times a year as well as end up at the drag strip a couple times a year. Any suggestions please.

Sam Strano is your man for the springs. Do a search for Strano Springs and you will find everything you need to know.

I'd definitely go with Strano. Paired up with the right shocks, my car was more comfortable than many cars I've driven in stock form. You won't be disappointed.

Like everyone else has said, Stranos. That's what I'm going with in the Summer.

I feel my springs are the springs you'd want. Lighter than most every other spring in terms of actual weight. Proven to handle via wins and lap times. Speced by me, to be what I wanted, based off of lots of trial and error testing with coil-overs.

There are cheaper springs. There are springs that claim to be pretty much the same. There are copies. There is only one set that has the results to back up the claims. And frankly you can see that those that have 'em are pleased with them.

Aside from balance, part of autox is getting power down (you know, you do it), so my springs are pretty good drag springs too--as far as lowering springs go.

They are $275 shipped. I'm awaiting a shipment now, due into port on the 9th. Hoping like hell Customs doens't screw around and I get them shortly thereafter. 100 sets there or thereabout are coming. Some 35 are already sold.

If you are interested, I recommend placing an order sooner than later to insure you get a set. Note: There is no charge to your Credit Card until the springs are ready to ship--only then are you billed.

I vote for Strano as well. I installed mine a couple years ago and have been very pleased with them. I currently run them with the stock shocks still and even with that not at being an optimal drag setup I still cut consistent mid 1.5x 60's in a car with just 360rwhp at almost full weight. I drive the car hard on and off the track and they handle really well, look great and in my opinion launch pretty damn good for being a lowering spring.

Thanks for the spring rates. Now the higher the rate the stiffer the spring correct or incorrect.

Plus he'll give you lots of setup advice and help you get what you want. Not too bad coming from an SCCA autox multinational winner
