I would lean toward selling your bellhousing for $150 or so and buying a brand new Quicktime bellhousing.

I was looking to do the same thing last spring when I had everything apart. I came to the conclusion the quicktime bellhousing was the best option as it also has the engine guard. And it's SFI. I do not recall finding a blanket at all

I bought a blanket once upon a time. I opted to sell it before I installed it and bought the Quicktime bellhousing.

Have you seen that video floating around lately where the guy attempts to do a smoke show, but instead the pressure plate explodes?

There is a blanket available, we have it listed on our site but I'm not even sure we can still even get them: http://www.tick-performance.com/tick...body/t56parts/ at the bottom of the page.

IMO, they are a pain to get to stay in place...its held in place with straps that have tabs that bolt under the belhousing bolts. Just get a steel bellhousing if you've got the extra money, we have the mcleod listed on our site for sell and thats whats on our shop car also.

bells are the best. the blanket may help your feet alittle but...
Blankets are not legal at the strip on a manual.
