Yes that would be a very bad idea . Way too small of a tire for that car .

i ran 215's on my front stockers and 255's out back, could have went with 205/55/16 but decided to run the 215's instead. the tire shops will tell u a 225 tire would be the smallest tire to put on though. the 205's are going to look stretched out. no tire shop will recommend it, its all up to you on what you want to do. but can u run them? sure u can.

Doesn't mean it's not dangerous to do so. I am no tire expert or anything but that sounds waayyyy to skinny for the stock wheels.

just no. 235s are really the smallest you want to go on the stockers. with 295 (yes they fit) being the max

They will look silly, not to mention the traction loss you will have. Take the hit and spend a few extra bucks on the right size.

If I were you, I'd save up some cash.
Get some 245s up front and 295s on rear. If you want to give it a mean muscle look on stockers. I have 215s up front and I kinda regret getting them because I scrape my driveway each time I go in or out.
Now imagine you getting 205s all around.
You'll be scraping the bottom of your car.
Just save up, and go either 235s all around or 245s, or an offset look.

Height 295
Width 50
And size inch rim 16.

So his height would be 205
Right?

You're both wrong. There is a difference in height and width between a 205/50R16 and a 235/50R16. A 235/50R16 is a little over an inch taller overall than a 205/50R16.

295 width
50 aspect ratio (height)
16 wheel diameter.

You're aspect ratio is the percentage of the width, which is the sidewall.

In other words, if you have a 295/50R16, your width is 295mm and your sidewall is 50% of the width, or 147.5mm, and your overall diameter would be 27.6". A 315/35R17 would be 315mm wide and your sidewall would be 110.25mm, for example.

I'm pretty sure I got all of that right haha

they will fit. i have 205's on my stock 16's. there is NO drive ability problem. they just look goofy. I went with that skinny because the wheels are for winter and i guess the "law" behind driving on ice is that a smaller contact patch is actually giving you more traction.

So yes they will fit fine, but i wouldn't recommend it for normal driving. it sucks but save up.
