A tale of two birds: the one that got away twice!
I have been a member of the forum since 2007 and I have never posted a pic of the car that brought me here. My first car I ever bought was a white automatic 2002 Pontiac Trans Am WS6. I purchased the car back in 2002 and I am the second owner. Then it had 18XXX miles and now I am 55xxx. I have babied this car and it has always been parked in a garage. I remember when I first drove her I could not believe how fast it was (compared to a 93 z71). Also, I thought I could not pay 23k for it either. Well, I payed her off in 3 years! In 2002 I purchased a worn out 67 camaro which is still in a million pieces but I am working on a 5.3 4l60e conversion.
The one that got away twice.
Three to four years ago I found an auto 98 formula, blue green metallic at a used car lot. It was in rough shape but only several minor things to fix. I wanted to buy the formula then but I could not afford it due to other bills at that time. Second time, two years later I see the exact car again at another used car lot same shape but again I had other priorities (finishing school and newly wed). Now, I run into the car again at a third used car lot struck a price and now she is mine! First mods will be demods of the speakers in the back and the glow lights underneath.

Both cars look good. That's pretty cool to have finally been able to get a car after missed opportunities. I almost didn't buy mine because i wasn't sure if i could work it out, but i knew i would have kicked my own *** later for passing it up. By the way, why do you want to get rid of those speakers...they are high class man. haha.

Thx guys. The headlight is fixed. I am planning on getting a ws9 hood. Speakers are gone!!! I have been fixing a ton of cheap plastic interior parts. The ac blower would not blow at any speed but it turned out the **** was broke. Next I am going to realign the bumper. 50% of the car is held together by zip ties! I reconverted the instrument gauge back to stock. A previous owner had put chrome trim on it. I still need to find a new **** for the shifter. I found a crackless windshield at a junkyard for $40.

I agree. I love my ws6 but there is something cool about a Formula. I don't know if it is the sleeper look. I like both of the hatches but I think the Formula hatch looks better on a TA than a TA hatch on a Formula.
