Default Very excited...new addition!

I just put a deposit down on a 05 CTS-v. I am going on Saturday morning to drive it and make sure everything is good before I hand the money over. Specs:

2005 50k miles
-black with tan interior
-stock
-brand new rotors and pads up front
-brand new Goodyear F1 all four corners
-chrome stock wheels
-FG2 suspension

Should be a nice DD to get me to and from work everyday....

Well, congrats . . make sure the radio is off during your drive and the heater/AC fan is off. And then, LISTEN. Some of us are better at noise diagnosis than others. So, if you're not good at it, take along someone who is. Then, check out all those creature comforts when you get back. Oh, and be aware of that CAGS computer aided gear select. It's that pesky 1-4 solenoid forced shift. Hopefully you know all this.
Good luck and I hope the weather is great for you.

Congrats buddy! Hope you enjoy. Wish you had bought mine but I'm glad you'll get to experience how awesome these cars are.

Yeah I have been into cars for as long as I have been walking. Tuned my old '65 mustang by that. Yeah I am going to drive and make sure everything is square before they get any money from me.

Yeah I would have liked to have gotten yours. I am very excited! Lets just see how long I can keep that mod bug at bay...I don't think I have ever owned a stock vehicle....brand new or not it seems to never stay stock with me
