they bullits are very, very loud!!! my buddy had a 5.3 head/ 233/239 setup and said he hated it. i personally love the sound of sweet thunders.

if you check out ls1sounds.com go look at tru dual systems with the sweet thunders. the guy with a LS6/224 setup with sweet thunders..

Any bullet style muffler is going to be pretty aggressive as far as how loud they are. While the Dynomax may be a bit louder, they have a deeper tone in my opinion. Both will make the same power basically so you really can't make a wrong choice as far as performance is concerned.

I have personally never heard the sweet thunders. I have the dynomax bullets and love them. They have a loud, deep rumble. Im running stock cam, heads so its not that loud. Not sure how loud it would be with a heads/cam. But as of right now its sounds amazing!

I'm running dual dynomax bullets. They have a deep, loud sound to them. I'm very happy with my choice; although, I am mildly concerned about how loud it will be after the cam swap.

Another vote for the dynomax bullet. I've had mine on for over a year, and don't plan to change it in the near future. Obviously, there is a noticeable difference from stock with a bullet to longtubes and ory.

bullets have the least resistance inside them. Probably the loudest. I love my car loud. Sweet thunders are alot quieter from what i've heard.

I had dynomax bullets with lt's, xpipe and dumped on my 99' ss. They were mellow at idle but loud at w.o.t. I had a stock cam though at the time. I loved them. I sold the car and now I have 01'z28/ss with kooks lt's, lanes true duals, and moroso spiral flows. I think they sound better than my dynomax did.

Coming from a cammed Formula I'll tell you to go with the Dynomax. I ran Long tubes into the ypipe straight to the bullit and dumped. Sounded really good for being a single.

Oh and the cam was a 224/228 .591/.591 on a 113LSA. Even got pulled over with that setup and the cop didn't say a word about it.

dynomax bullets (not the catback) are basically as loud as open cutouts right behind the collectors...but they sound GREAT unlike open exhaust/straight pipe

very deep and rumbly but scream at WOT
