Default modded one of the jetskis.. what do you think?

2004 Turbo Aquatraxx modded with a piggy back and a RFL BOV. the ski hits about 85mph on the water. I had it up to 75 last week in daytona. the other is a GP1200 with a inlet plate and carb kit.

That thing has a 4 cyl engine in it? Jesus what motor is that...... and it's got a turbo on top of it

I don't know what 75 mph on a jetski feels like, but I can't imagine it would feel all too safe on anything other then glass smooth water.

I do like it though... wish I had the time to play with one, and a close place to play with it.

Maybe someday.

i wiped out at 55mph on a ski, 1 my life jacket was way too big for me, so it almost fell off and 2 I don't know how to swim. so needless to say i'll never ride a jetski ever again lol

NO WAY IN HELL are you hitting 85mph on the water on the honda without MAJOR MAJOR modifications. Same goes for 75, id say your wish-o-meter is way off. I have an 07 F12x and it does 64 stock, so whats done to get 21mph out of it?

theres me on my 97 polaris SLT 780 she goes good for $850 with a mint trailer. i also picked up a 98 kawi zxi1100 but havent been able to get it to run right. looks like the battery dosent get charged. looks like the stator.

i have a lot of fun with them. rive rin my city runs straight to the ocean and hampton beach. 2 streets away i dump it in. a nice 12 mile ride to newburyport on smooth water then another 5 mileride on the ocean to hampton beach. then come back. its a good ride and u can stop for beers and food. i love it. it goes about 45mph its fun.

gas mileage sux because the two stroke. it went through two tanks before the turbo went through one. but its very reliable. it sat for a few months with a battery tender on it outside. i pulled it in the garage when it was snowing and it fired right up no issues. this one is a 98 with 115hrs and its freshly rebuilt. I love the ski. its a lot easier to throw around and get air off waves then the turbo because its a lot lighter. but when there are two people on it, it is very easy to flip over. but I love te low end power it has. it will outrun my turbo honda till about 40. then then turbo blows by it. but its a very very good/fun/reliable ski for the money. if you get one, I have a single ski trailer im looking to unload

I bet GPS your hitting about 68 with the Honda, BOV really doesnt add power. I lvoe the fuel economy of the Honda though, I can get an entire weekend of 10+ hrs on the water on a tank of gas, I almost bought a Ultra 250x supercharged but I hears id be lucky to get a 1/3 of the gas mileage as the honda. You prolly have two of the most reliable skisthere are there. Just remember to spray the turbo with marine lubricant because replacements are north of 2000 for the trubo and wastegate

yea i really want a 4 stroke for the mere fact they r so much better on gas and r reliable. i like to take long trips and its hard on the 2 strokes. but with my polaris i did go on a good 40-50 mile trip on one tank of gas. in choppy water. i thought that was pretty impressive

haha I know. It absolutely kills fuel. But we dragged them both on the lake over probably a 1/4 mile. The honda wasnt even close and the kid on the kawi was a fat ***

it aint cheap, macsboost.com is where id start, they have a module for like 450 which ups the boost a bit but they recommend theere intercooler(like 800 i believe) and a solas 18 something impeller which will net you like 3-4mph for only 2k lol. you can modify the ride plate and cut a few bars out from the grate too allow more water in. going faster on the water isnt as easy as the road. If you want a fast ski get the rxt but look at spend over 12k new.

where do you ride at? i usually ride around middle river/hart miller island
