It is ok for me to run NOS with the setup I have?
Ok this is what I have...
02 ls1 6 speed..
5.3 heads ported by TEA to 1.5
comp cam 224 224 581 581 112
FLP's and a K@N FIPK intake....
right now the car makes about 410hp and 400tq
The best I can run out of it is 12.5 at 118 with a 1.9 60" on Nitto's
I want to spray a 100 shot on the car.. Not schure what kit to go with or.. If its even safe to put NOS on the car.. Condsidering I no with
these heads my compression is going to be like 11.1 prob.. Not schure exactly what it is....
Is it ok to spray with this setup?
If so what kit? and how much schould I spray??

TR-6 plugs.
Timing advance set to about 23 degrees.
O2s at 910-.950mv.
75 shot.
You'll be safe.
Upgrade the fuel pump (and injectors too for a dry shot) and drop the timing back a little more to spray more. Unleaded race gas is also a really good idea.

What type of kit.. Is going to work safe.. And is a 75 shot the most i can spray since i have heads and cam.. And stock bottom end.. And high compression..

I dont think that iam having that bad of traction prob.. At the track.. yes.. but not on the street..
what kit is the best i can go with for being safe and performance..

what about a direct port system.. Is that not a good kit to go with or yes?

there is a guy got the same set as you , he dyno 420rwhp and he was running 11.5 (na)
he was spraying 150 shot wet kit (mods svo 30Inj and bigger intank fuel pump )
