Default AFR 205's installed

Great set of heads! Straight forward install. Also installed new lifters since I had the heads off. Feels as fast as my old '06 GTO that ran 12.65 on street tires....
Need a clutch now.....

Sweet. Do you have power and torque numbers for your set up? Any vids of how the cam sounds?

Please don't hold your breath... I work a lot of hours and getting it to a dyno is low on my to do list. I just like installing stuff to make it go faster.

My lift is now tied up with my avalanche. Broke the output shaft on a 1-2 shift at 8psi and the motor over revved and took out one of the DOD lifters. Gotta pull the heads off that.... hope it didn't take out the LS2 cam I have in it

Not a big deal. Installed AFR 205's on a couple of different LSx's...always curious to know outcomes with them just for knowledge. For example, 448rwhp with fullexhaust, fast 90, 230's cam, 205's on an LS6. You'll like em but,... you need a tune.

Cool. Should have good numbers on my LS2 then...
I use HP tuners and a WB. Have it dialed in pretty good now.
Definitely need to upgrade the clutch. I'm thinking Monster stage 3.

We've seen 480 with the 205's on an LS2, with the exact same spec'd camshaft. Similar air. If your a quick shifter,... you'll need a clutch.

Needs to be rid of that factory flywheel and clutch setup. Doesn't let the car rev quick enough. Have fun with her.

The level 3 would be just right. Gives you plenty of room for future mods. Car sounds great!

The Monster packages come with an 18lb or 28lb flywheel...your choice.

28lbs I do a good combination of city and hwy when I drive it so I figured it would be a good compromise...
