Default What sensor is this?

I have a 2000 ls1 camaro. There is a sensor on the left head at the front next to the header bolt. What sensor is this?

left head meaning driver side? its the coolant temp sensor, let me guess...installing headers and the black plastic connector snapped off? lol done that a few times...cheap easy fix

Oh and if you did break it, wrap the new one with some Teflon tape.
