Default c5z "hurst" or "MGW" short throw????

i have a hurst short trhow in my 04 c5 zo6 but it seems to be a little loud on the rattling noise between it and my brothers C5 BILLET SHIFTER its quiter than my hurst a big difference and more comfortable the c5 billet shifter is off center closer to the driver side and stiffer more presice shifts but i am thinking of putting in a "MGW" short throw shifter wich do u guys think its best performing stiffer quiter ???????

The RSD "snap shifter" is the way to go. Its short and smooth, and based off a stock shifter so no noise.

Keep it stock, not a fan of aftermarket shifters on the C-5.

The kirban is too tall for me and just feels way too stock. The B&M is my favorite just because of how you can adjust it.

I swapped out a B&M ripper for the MGW that I am now using. The MGW is little smoother than the B&M,but both shifters work well in my opinion. If you intend to drag race your car then dump the stock shifter...after market short throw shifters out perform the stock shifter hands down!!

I agree 100 %

I had the B&M and now the MGW. Both shift great, but one big improvement on the MGW is reverse gear is like glass. No effort what so ever. The B&M can be a bitch in a parking lot.

I had the Hurst for 2 seasons before going with the C6 Z06 shifter. I liked the Hurst but I'm glad I made the change to the C6. Very smooth.

I had the Hurst for two weeks. Couldn't stand it and pulled it. Later installed the C6 shifter and love it, has been in the car ever since. Have installed the C6 shifter in two friends cars as well.
