I have a 2000 z28 camaro and I want to get it repainted a different color....it's silver right now and I want to get it painted some kind of black a nice glossy black....who's a good shop or person that does great work at a great price around here?....in the 1000$-1500 range...I want to get everything painted well atleast the outside and the engine bay and I need some dents fixed small ones the biggest one is like a small clock on a wall...any help would be great thanks...if you can do the job text me at 832-386-5578

$1,500 for a color change (door jams,eng bay,hatch) and body work and you want a quality job. I would say moore like $2,500-3,000

Yeah I know....but I'm running real low on cash....if not I would get a 3500$ job but don't have the money now

Yeah I here ya, but a good quality job for not changing the color is going to be at least 2k to 3k. My brother just had his ta done and its got some things in it that isnt perfect and he payed 2500 bucks. If it were me I would save up some more cash and do it right.

Yeah that is true...but I need my car out the shop already but hopefully I find some that will do a job I won't regret or I'll just wait idk....I'm gonna see the work the people do then go from there

Where in Houston are you? I work at Main Street Paint and Body in Pearland. They are the best place around for the price and can do most of what you want in your price range, maybe even a little cheaper. They won't do the whole engine bay though, it's just not our thing unless there is no engine in it.
Just make sure you take your panels off though like in the rear hatch, door panels etc.. It will help a little bit with the cost plus it will look a little better. They will just mask over them if you don't.
Tell them you want it wet sanded, buffed and waxed. Makes a huge difference on how it turns out. Here is mine and it was just single stage black. When you go get an estimate ask if you can look at finished cars and see if you like the work first, which is what you should do at every shop you go to.

thats what i paid just to have mine shot. had about 1800$ in just paint and materials. did all the prep work and car dissassembly myself. the only way to do it right is to remove all panels and trim so you can cut everything in the right way.

Like I said, Main street paint and body in Pearland Tx, tell them Trey sent you. Your not gonna get a better job anywhere else for the price. Been there done that.. They wanted $950 to fix a bunch of dings and repaint my 95 Camaro and that was before I worked there. Another place up the road wanted like $1900 for the same job.

im pretty good at paintin but ah would do it in mah garage !! mah dads ah pro painter so ah learned how to if your intrested lemme kno ... u just buy the material and paint! and throw me in ah couple bucks !! all even wet sand it and buff it to take out orange peel !
