I have a stock 99 trans am A4. Was thinking about goin with a 150 shot of juice with the dynamic spetrum tuner and 4.10 gears in the rearend. Any other ideas or opinions?

Thanks

A 150 shot will be the best bang for your buck, 4:10 gears on a auto might be a little big, most of the a4 guys go to a 3:42 or 3:73's.

Ya the stock a4 gets the 2.73''s and the m6 gets 3.42's. Thats why 4.10's are going to be a big jump from 2.73's.

ya do you know anything about the dynamic spectrum tuner from jegs. or do you have ne other prefrences. with a 150-175 shot of juice you have to retard the timing by around 6 degrees.

nitrous makes torque ,start with the 2.73 .have more than enough fuel pressure ,and short shift and be careful with your timing.with more torque good suspension mods help plant the torque to the ground.

Yea your car has 323s bro...not 273s

Also like it was said above, 410s are a little much for a A4...specially if its a DD, 373s would be enough. 410s are mostly popular with the M6 guys.

Forget the 410s and put a converter in it.

get a full dyno tune.

you'll run better on the spray, and be least likely to damage things.

I would do 3.42s and 100 shot. 150 is a little much for stock motor and pump

agree with lemons, Do the 150,a stall, and be sure to get your car dyno tuned by a pro. Dont buy one of those crappy handheld tuners, its a big waste of money. If you dont have the money for both those things, get the stall first then save up for a nitrous kit and a tune.

Honestly it depends on what you are wanting out of your car, I daily a 3500 stall and I'm moving up to a 4000 stall.. I would say 3500 to 4000 or between would be a good stall to look at going with.

do a 4000 stall, some descent tires and some suspension mods. There is no reason to have a lot of hp if you cant hook.
