Default What to remove w/ 12 disc

i will be selling my TA's 12 disc (deck, changer, all of it) and i want to know what wiring to pull out with if, if any.

This mainly concerns the changer only. I have already pulled the deck.

Thanks.

the disc changer is universal among the f bodies. All you need to do is pull it out (one mounting bolt and disconnect the wiring harness) and sell it. All of our cars came wired for the disc changer whether they had it or not. The changer will only work with factory systems from GM however so you can only sell it to another F body that has a stock stereo in it you see....

hope this helps

As long as the stock cd player is a 2000 or newer model, it has cd changer controls built in, and all of the tape decks came with changer controls. I just added an alpine changer to mine and the number 5 preset button changes disks. The 1 and 3 presets along with the seek button selects the next and previous track, and the 4 and 6 presets are forward scan and reverse scan.

to add to that ^^, most f-bodies are pre-wired for the changer...simple plug and play

My car came with both the cd changer and the in dash cd player. I tried to install my cd changer in a 2000 grand prix, but the radio wouldn't control it even though the car had the disc changer wires in the trunk.
