Newbie Needs help on value
Hi everyone, I'm new here, I've lurked in the backround for a while. I've been looking to get back into a car for a while, I had a 95 T/A a few years ago loved it but I sold it to get into a new boat, now Ive been starting to look again, I think this time I'm gonna go after a 98 & up, I just came across a 99 T/A with 31k on it, its pewter with charcoal gray leather, 1rst owner just traded it in, it has all options except the WS6 and polished wheels. I'm thinking I can get it for a pretty good price but was just curious what the "EXPERTS" think its worth, I have to steal it because pewter isn'y my color of choice.

Without pictures its really hard to say, but judging by the mileage its probably pretty mint. I would honestly offer them 9k or even a little bit less. They're probably wanting quite a bit for it because when dealerships see low miles, they get a huge hard on and the markup skyrockets. If They're bottom dollar is over 9k walk away and just start searching on here. You can get some great deals in the classifieds.

nice car, kinda plain but nice lol, my buddy bought a blue 98 in great shape but 180k miles on it for like 6 grand. in my opinion it all depends on what your lookin to do to it, if your looking to keep it fairly stock then you can afford to pay 7+ thousand for it, but if your looking to heavily customize it or make alot of hp you might be better off looking for something cheaper with more miles so you can put the money you save into customization and upgrades, thats what i do with all my vehicles including my 97 t/a i get alot of enjoyment from fixing em up

I'm not looking to do much of anything, just a nice driver if I had my way I'd buy a red or white one preferably, but it seems that this is a pretty nice deal,

'Settling' for a color you don't particularly care for is a mistake which you will regret within one year's time. Too many nice ones still around if you are willing to travel. Never settle unless the choices are limited. That isn't the case yet with these cars. You have choices still with respectively low mileage cars. You may have to wait a few weeks (maybe even a little longer) for one to pop up that you like but that is nothing in the grand scheme of an important car purchase. Remember that travelling is the key. $50 motel rooms, fast food $$, gas is NOTHING when getting the car you want. The ride home in your 'new car' is the best part. My last two car purchases were approximately 500 miles and 700 miles away from me. Best few hundred bucks I ever spent to get the right cars.

I agree, this one just happens to settle into my budget nicely, I am not afraid to travel for a vechicle, went to alabama for my boat and chicago for my truck

yea i think it would look nice with some kind of black accent or stripe on the silver. its true, most people want a arm and a leg for one just because its an ls1, which are nice but its hard to pay the difference from an lt1 in my opinion, especially when parts are soooo high for ls1s, like a plastic intake from FAST for $800 dollars! at

Well last night I was kinda relived when I couldnt find his ad on craigslist anymore, figured it sold, wrong here's the email I got today, I don't get the feeling he's gonna move his price now... the next best thing I found is a 99 red with 24k for 11500 so I'm thinking jump on it
Hi Sam,I pulled it off CL ,I was getting so many responses I thought that must be too cheap! But no one has come to look at the car.I figured I would just hang onto it another month and sell it off my lot.If you're interested in it at the $8500 call me
