Default Title transfer

Anybody ever been in this position...ok im selling my car out of state, but i dont have the title in hand cuz i still owe money from the bank..onces he pays of the rest of the money through the bank how long will i have to wait before i get the title? is there anyway i can speed up the process to get the title? ..or how long did it take for you to have the title in your hand after you paid off ur car loan.thanks

make sure you fill out a release of liability and have an extra one also that you send in. Sorry if that does not help much but it is always a good idea.

It shouldn't take long to get the title once paid.. iirc it took about 2 weeks to receive mine when I paid off my car.

gunna take about two weeks, just go down with the buyer and have a bill of sale notirized... i have done this with a couple vehicles before, just make sure to follow through and mail the title once you recieve it

2 weeks for sure , try callin em and see if they can send it next day.

On all of mine its almost 2 weeks to the day to get the title. I agree with above, have the Bill of Sale notorized and put in there that you will send it...and send it. Done deal.
