LS3 C6 Clutch Pedal on the floor EXPERTS come in...
Last week I had my clutch slave and master cylinder replaced under warranty due to the sticking issues lots of us are familiar with. So far, it seems to be working. My particular issue has always been shifting from 2nd to 3rd after a high rpm shift in 1st and 2nd.
Is there ANYTHING one can do to prevent this "pedal on the floor" issue from coming back? I wonder if a MOTUL RBF 660 fluid is the best way to go at this point with 25 miles on the new hydraulic set up?
Thoughts, opinions?
Also, if it comes back to haunt me what's next? A new clutch?

A new clutch fixed it for me. Mine was slipping, causing the fluid to heat excessively. I bet with the setup you got, the clutch is crying every time you get on it. Have you tried maybe putting it in 4th or 5th at a low speed and punching it? This is hell for a clutch, and if it's gonna slip, it'll do it here. My new clutch doesn't slip, so no more pedal issues for me. I got the tick master to hopefully fix some of the rough shifting (haven't installed it yet though).

i dont have a C6 but i do have a C5Z and i had this problem too! I hoping to get my car back from my mechanic today actually. I will mention though that i did manage to break 3/4 of the "fingers" on the pressure plate. I dont know HOW this happened. Ive never tracked my car either. In the process of changing it all out with a Monster stage 3 with all the goodies. All but the tick MC.

If it stays on the floor its got to be the master. C5 corvettes didnt have that problem, but the 98-02 Fbodies did. The C5's problem was that it just wouldnt shift at that high rpm. The F-bodies clutch pedal would get stuck on the floor board. Try doing a search on their forums or threads and see what you find..
