Default Official Race

This saturday, i had my first official race. I raced a Hyndai Elantra (not stock), a Lincoln Towncar (Mustang Motor 4.6), and a '09 Dodge Challenger r/t. I definitely need to work on my launch off the line, but I must say i am pleased with my Impala with it being my first official runs against these cars and i came out victorious against each of them 2 times each. Even though i had an advantage over the challenger and towncar in weight, they put up good runs. A friend of mine has a Acura RSX and i dont know anything about these cars but do u think it will give me a huge fit? I only have a K&N Cold Air Intake. Give me some feed back guys.

as for the rsx, if its the rsx-s it will give u a run for ur money, they are lightttttt as helll the other rsx's i have no idea, but they are pretty quick off the line for a n/a 4 banger..

You shouldn't have any issues with the rsx it's 180 if it's just a rsx if it type s it has 200 stock. Now it it's tunede to then it might be close up top. Off the line you should eat him.

you should be able to kill the rsx no matter what it has, unless he has a supercharger or turbo

agreed. theyre 200hp rating is at like 7000 rpm. it makes no torque and has a tiny powerband. its just light. in a street race you should destroy him.

If the RSX is a Type S with it can be quick.

I got pulled on by a friends 05 RSX-S that had I/H/E/Hondata. He was about 220whp and got me by a car and a half up top. This is when I was trapping 99-100 and running 14.0s

I have a friend here in town that has a 350z, we race and beat me a few times, my mods were, what I have in my signature but I had the resonator on back then, his mods were just cai.when I was on vacation last year I killed a 350z, he took off first but my top end kicked in.

i used to beat a local 350Z by a car length when i was stock, if you get a good launch they shouldn't be able to run you down.

I have to agree on a lot of RSX people talking ****, i rolled up beside one at a light. I could see them eyeing my car, then i hear the driver say "oh thats how they come stock, their nothing". Since i'm not stock i kinda laughed and thought to myself the sleeper look is still working. I revved up, he gave me the dumb racer look like hes going to beat me. I pulled probably 8 cars within 1/8mile. Friend i know told me he has I/C/H/E/tune.
