I personally wouldn't have bought the Bugatti even if I had the money. The new ZR1 is one of my all time favorite/dream cars...... I would have went ZR1 all day long in Jet Stream Blue!!

that is chump change if you can afford a car that costs $1,800,0000.

You could get 15+ ZR1s for one Veyron.

Then again, if you can afford an almost $2 million car, why would you need to trade to get a car priced at a little over $100k?

If I had a Veyron, no way in hell I would trade for a ZR1. ZR1's are nice and I wouldn't mind having one, but to trade a Veyron for a ZR1, that's just retarded.

think about it though. If you trade in the Bugatti, then you are looking at a large surplus of cash over top of it. You get a ZR1 that is just meant to be a pure show car (keep it under 500 miles on the odometer), then you buy a ZR1 that you drive all over the place, and keep her stock. Then you pour at least another $100K into another ZR1 modding the thing out, and that is your pure track car. Then you buy another ZR1 and lightly mod it out so you have a very beefy daily driver.... Just a thought.

What you guys are failing to realize is that the dude got upwards of a million dollars BACK in the deal plus the ZR1. He did not trade straight across, it was a business deal that turned publicity stunt.

That is what I was basing my idea off of, just using the money he got back from the car.

^^^ Yeah you were one of the very few that got what was actually going on. In all of the threads i have seen this in, most assume it was a straight trade, which makes ABSOLUTELY no business sense.

if i had a veryron, chances are i could afford a zr1 as my DD. but then again, maybe this guy just got divorced, and his wife took everything so now he needs to sell the car so he can buy a house, a zr1, and keep his gf on the side happy.

I woulda done it, with the leftover cash one ZR1 for cruisin around town and another for straight modding and would have beat the veyron and kept the ps, ac all that jazz. I woulda been able to buy one or two of my close friends a ZR1 as well, heck buy the pastor of my church one as well, ZR1's for everyone lol.
